What should you look for when buying a used console?

Start with how you want to play. You can take the Switch OLED on the go or connect it to your TV via the dock, while the Switch Lite is handheld-only with built-in controls. Every PS4 has a Blu-ray drive, so you can play affordable second-hand discs; the PS4 Pro really shines on a 4K TV. The Nintendo 3DS, New 3DS XL and New 2DS XL play 3DS and DS game cards, and only the 2DS does without the 3D effect. A Meta Quest runs without a PC or cables; you need a Meta account to set it up.

Switch OLED or Switch Lite – which suits me?
