How do we refurbish our MacBooks?

Before sale, every MacBook goes through our tests: display, battery, keyboard, trackpad, ports, webcam, speakers, microphones, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If something isn't as it should be, we replace the battery, screen or housing, always and only with original parts. We don't do this on every MacBook, only when its condition calls for it.

Then we wipe all data and reset the Mac to factory settings, with no accounts linked: you switch it on and set it up with your own Apple Account. The condition grade (Like new, Very good, Good, Fair) describes its looks, and the photos in the listing are real. Storage and configuration are stated in every listing.

What's the difference between a used and a refurbished MacBook?
