How do we refurbish our Samsung Galaxy phones?

Before sale, every Galaxy goes through our tests: display and touch, battery, cameras, fingerprint sensor, speakers, microphones, buttons, charging and all connections; on the foldables we also check the hinge and the inner screen. If something isn't as it should be, we replace the battery, screen or housing, always and only with original parts. We don't do this on every phone, only when its condition calls for it.

Then we wipe all data and reset the Galaxy to factory settings, with no Google or Samsung account linked: you switch it on and set it up with your own. The condition grade (Like new, Very good, Good, Fair) describes its looks, and the photos in the listing are real. On the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip, the slight crease in the middle of the screen is part of the design, not a defect.

What's the difference between a used and a refurbished Samsung?
