Buy a used Apple Watch

An Apple Watch counts your steps, shows notifications and joins you for workouts. Bought used, it costs much less, and ours are often barely worn. This page explains what matters: iPhone compatibility, case size, battery and cellular. Before sale, we test every watch's display, battery, Digital Crown, buttons and connectivity. You buy on eBay or Vinted, with the platform's protection under its terms.

What matters when buying a used Apple Watch?

Compatibility comes first: an Apple Watch only works with an iPhone, and its watchOS version has to match your iPhone and its iOS version. Apple lists the requirements for each model. The case size decides how it looks on your wrist: the Apple Watch SE comes in 40 or 44 mm, current Series models in 42 or 46 mm and the Ultra in 49 mm. Smaller cases suit slimmer wrists, larger ones give you more screen. The GPS version is enough if you usually carry your iPhone; GPS + Cellular needs a plan that supports the Apple Watch.

With us, that's already checked: before sale, we test every Apple Watch's display and touch, battery, Digital Crown and side button, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Then we reset it, so you can pair it straight away with your own iPhone. The condition grade (Like new, Very good, Good, Fair) mainly describes the display and case; technically, every device goes through the same tests. The listing states the case size, material and band, with real photos of the watch.

Does an Apple Watch work with Android?
No. An Apple Watch can only be set up and used with an iPhone. With an Android phone, you need a watch that is compatible with Android.
Is a used Apple Watch hygienic?
The case is easy to clean, and we test every device before sale. Want to be on the safe side with the band? Treat yourself to a new one: bands swap in seconds, and many fit several generations with a similar case size.
Which case size is right for me?
It depends on your wrist and your taste. Smaller cases (e.g. 40, 41 or 42 mm) look more discreet. Larger ones (e.g. 44, 45 or 46 mm, or the Ultra at 49 mm) offer more screen and often a bigger battery. Not sure? Compare with a watch you already wear. Every listing states the case size.
