What matters when buying a used MacBook?

With the MacBook Neo, the choice is simple: every model has the A18 Pro chip, 8 GB of unified memory and a 13-inch display. The difference is the SSD, with 256 or 512 GB, and only the 512 GB model has Touch ID. For office apps, browsing, streaming and video calls, 256 GB is enough for most people. If you keep lots of photos, videos or large apps locally, go for 512 GB, as storage can't be upgraded later. Two USB-C ports and a headphone jack are always included; over USB-C you charge the MacBook and connect an external display.

Which SSD size do I need: 256 or 512 GB?
256 GB covers office apps, browsing, streaming and a handful of other apps. If you store lots of photos and videos locally or use large programs, choose 512 GB; that model also has Touch ID. The SSD can't be upgraded, but iCloud or an external SSD on the USB-C port gives you extra space.
Which keyboard layout does the MacBook have?
It depends on the country the device was made for, for example German QWERTZ or UK QWERTY. The layout is stated in every listing and visible in the photos, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.
