Used and refurbished Nintendo Switch

How do we refurbish our Nintendo consoles?

Before sale, every console goes through our tests: screen and touch, battery, buttons and sticks, speakers, charging, connectivity and, on the Switch OLED, the video output to the TV. If something isn't as it should be, we replace the battery, screen or housing, always and only with original parts. We don't do this on every console, only when its condition calls for it.

Then we wipe all data and reset the console, with no Nintendo Account linked: you switch it on and set it up with your own. The condition grade (Like new, Very good, Good, Fair) describes its looks, and the photos in the listing are real. What's included, such as Joy-Con, dock or charger, is stated in the listing.

What's the difference between a used and a refurbished Switch?
A used Switch is sold as it is. A refurbished one is checked and, if needed, repaired before sale. We test every console by hand; when needed we replace the battery, screen or housing with original parts, then wipe the data and reset it.
Switch OLED or Switch Lite: what changes?
The Switch OLED has a 7-inch OLED screen and detachable Joy-Con, and connects to the TV through the dock. The Switch Lite is smaller and lighter, with built-in controls and a 5.5-inch screen, and is handheld only: it plays every Switch game that supports handheld mode.
Is the previous owner's data deleted?
Yes. We wipe all data and reset the console, with no Nintendo Account linked. When you switch it on, you set it up with your own account.
